Boundary Busting

When I first heard the term “ghosting”, I was delighted. I thought it meant more people were coming out of the psychic closet. At one time in my life, I would have rejected the term “ghosting” because of my fear of actual ghosts.

I’ve been reacting to ghosts my whole life. Early on, I responded by running away. I was terrified.

As time went on, I found I could connect with beloved family members after they died. On the flip side, I had to contend, for example, with my friend’s deceased grandfather who wanted to reach his granddaughter so he thought he would try through me. But it wasn’t until I was in my first apartment and this ill-natured dead drunk guy kept making my phone ring at all hours of the day and dropping into my body that I reached for my first book about ghosts.

I had been studying metaphysics for years but had never wanted to learn about ghosts. So, learn about them I did. Meanwhile, there was nothing in the library or bookstore about psychic boundaries. For years, I searched for information about how to strengthen mine, all the while, strengthening them on my own. Truth be told, therapy helped! Personal and energetic boundaries are connected so if one is made stronger, so is the other.

Decent boundaries are the building blocks of intuitive work of any kind.

Energetic boundaries, as you know, are extremely important for mediums. They need these boundaries to protect themselves from the energies of others.”

Spirits and ghosts can spot a medium a lifetime away. They know the medium can either see, hear, or sense them so they follow them around, whispering in their metaphysical ear.  

Mediums can feel the emotions of others. The energy of emotions can stick like glue to all sensitive people. Another reason to build decent boundaries.

Everyone is sensitive and intuitive to some degree. We all trip over our boundaries and cross other people’s boundaries from time to time. In my experience, understanding how to strengthen them is key to feeling peaceful and happy.

When I started writing this blog post, I got lost in all the subcategories of boundary genres. As an intuitive coach, I’ve always emphasized the importance of strong personal and energetic boundaries, so I could have easily gone into great detail. However, I decided to take a broader approach to illustrate personal and energetic boundaries because I wanted to focus on helpful tips for strengthening them.

Personal Boundaries

Personal boundaries are the limits and rules we set for ourselves in terms of our relationships with others. They define what we are comfortable with and what we are not comfortable with. Personal boundaries can be physical, emotional, or mental.

-Physical boundaries involve our physical space.

-Emotional boundaries involve our emotional needs and well-being. 

-Mental boundaries involve our thoughts and beliefs.

Healthy personal boundaries help us to feel safe, respected, and in control of our own lives. No one’s boundaries are perfect. We all benefit from boosting them; it is truly a lifelong process.

Examples

  1. For instance, if you find yourself oversharing…

Be selective about who you share your story with. Oversharing can alienate people who are uncomfortable with your level of honesty. Save your story for those who appreciate your openness and will be supportive.

2. If you find yourself saying yes when you want to say no…

Learn to say no.  It’s okay to say no to requests that you don’t have time for or that you’re not comfortable with. Saying yes when you mean no can lead to resentment and frustration.

Here are some tips for setting healthy personal boundaries:

  • Be clear about what you are comfortable with and what you are not comfortable with.
  • Setting clear expectations: Communicating our needs and expectations to others can help to prevent them from crossing our boundaries.
  • Be upfront in enforcing your boundaries.
  • Stay honest and consciously choose not to be manipulative to get your needs met.
  • Be willing to say no to requests that you cannot or don’t want to fulfill.
  • Be receptive when others say no to you.
  • Set limits on your time and energy.
  • Take care of your physical and mental health.
  • Practice self-care, self-love, and compassion.

Setting healthy personal boundaries is an ongoing process. It takes time and practice to learn how to communicate your needs and enforce your boundaries. But it is a worthwhile investment!

Energetic Boundaries

Energetic boundaries are the invisible lines that define our personal space and protect our energy from being influenced by others. They are similar to physical boundaries, but they are not limited to our physical bodies.

Our energetic boundaries extend beyond our physical bodies.

Energetic boundaries encompass our thoughts, feelings, emotions.

Energetic boundaries protect us from energy that is not our own.

Examples

  1. Your co-worker is in a bad mood and every time you interact with them, you feel angry afterward…

Absorbing other people’s moods is an easy thing to do unless you consciously ignite your boundaries before you connect. You will not feel drained or angered by those around you if you stay in your own energetic space.

2. When you spend time in your cousins house, you feel cold chills throughout your body and you always feel tired when you leave…

There could be a ghost sharing space with your cousin. Meditating and grounding prior to and after your visit will help you stabilize and protect your energy. Imagining a protective bubble around your body is also helpful, especially when dealing with ghosts.

Our energetic boundaries are impactful to our spirit because our spirit responds to energy, not words.  Absolutely everything is made of energy. Thoughts, words, love, hate, tension, anxiety, appreciation, joy, all can be sensed energetically.

When our energetic boundaries are strong and healthy, we can protect ourselves from negative energy, such as stress, anxiety, fear, and energy that is not our own, including spirit energy. Spirits and ghosts can be sensed because they too are made of energy, as are you. When our boundaries are secure, we are able to maintain a sense of peace and well-being, even in difficult situations.

Our energetic boundaries are powerful when we know where our space begins and ends. Being aware of our emotions is essential to this process, as it helps us to notice when someone or something is trying to penetrate our boundaries. We can tell because our own vibration will feel foreign to us.

Here are some tips for setting healthy energetic boundaries:

  • Meditation: Meditation can help us to become more aware of our energy and to learn how to protect it and ourselves with light.
  • Grounding: Grounding helps us to connect with the earth’s energy, which can help to stabilize our own energy.
  • Paying attention to how you feel helps you build and understand where your energetic space begins and ends.
  • Healing work, whether you do it on your own or with professional support, can strengthen your boundaries in an extraordinary way.
  • Exercising self-love is a powerful force and protects your energy beautifully. 
  • Giving energy to what you love and not what you dislike builds your personal bank of energy.
  • Maintaining a stream of optimistic thoughts about you and your life is a powerful practice. 
  • Visualizing a protective shield of light around our bodies can help to keep out negative energy and any energy that is not our own. 
  • Clearing our space of old energy using prayer or space clearing techniques.

Energetic boundaries are an important part of our overall wellness. By taking steps to strengthen our boundaries, we can protect ourselves from negative energy and maintain a sense of peace and well-being.

Here are some examples of energetic boundaries:

  • Refusing to engage in any conversations that make you feel uncomfortable.
  • Honoring your intuition about people, places, and things.
  • Setting limits on your time and energy.
  • Protecting your personal space.
  • Creating an energetic protective shield or bubble around yourself before interacting with others.
  • Clearing your energy regularly, especially after heavy interactions or being in crowds.
  • Taking care of your physical and mental health.
  • Practicing self-love, self-care, and compassion.
  • Coming to terms with the fact that you cannot help everyone you want to help.
  • Knowing that your energy is yours, you can choose to share it in a healthy way or walk away.

For those in the healing arts, it is especially advantages to maintain decent boundaries to protect your client and yourself. Just because you intuitively pick up on something, doesn’t mean it’s meant for you to share. The entire Universe need not rest on your shoulders.

For example, as a massage therapist, if you sense that a client is going to have a heart attack, it is not appropriate, to share this information with them, as you are not qualified to diagnose a heart issue. Instead, you could tactfully encourage them to listen to their body and seek medical guidance if something doesn’t feel right.

If you are struggling with delicate or unhealthy energetic boundaries, the good news is you can strengthen them in minutes just by altering your thoughts. You can easily learn to build and maintain boundaries.

Setting energetic boundaries is an ongoing process that takes time and practice. It’s worth it, as it helps you protect your energy, maintain a sense of well-being, ignite your light, and enhance your joy!

The Door

The photo of the red door in this post was the door to my freedom.

It was the entrance to my first apartment when I was 18.

The house wasn’t located in the very best part of town; it was a basement apartment without proper exits, but it was mine! It was an entrance to a whole new world for me.

This was where I started my shadow dancing. This was where I stood up for my intuition and told the dark spirits to vamoose. This is where no one could kick me out for telling the truth.

This is where I began to love myself.

My feelings were never too big and I was never too much.

Feelings are the gateway to your intuition.

I learned to open to the Universe within by reflecting before reacting to them.

The love in my heart illuminated the path of my soul.

Today, as my shoes hit the earth on the grounds of my first apartment, something swirled up through the soles of my feet, and I could feel how I felt all those years ago when I was brave, damaged, and naïve.

I wanted to knock on the door, hug my younger self tightly, and remind her of the times when this me, a version of my older self, came to her with reassurance and even showed her movies with scenes filled with possibilities yet to come.

As I stood in front of the building, I realized that these sensations have been a part of my life, my entire life.

I wanted to knock on the door and tell that young me that we had accomplished it. She inspired me, and I inspired her.

And then, a smile lit up from within me and made its way to my eyes as I realized that there was no part of me still left fragmented in that apartment. I had all of me. Nothing damaged. Nothing broken. Nothing splintered or unclaimed.

We learn who we are by knowing how we feel.

The strength of my joy gives evidence to the power of my soul and its connection to All That Is.

Love is the fingerprint of the soul. As for me, I am leaving my fingerprints everywhere.

I’m so appreciative of this experience and the reminder it served. My Divinely Guided Spirit Team was behind me then and remains so now.

Our Divinely Guided Spirit Team is tailored for us by high level Divine beings.

Team members include our guides, angels, the Universe of course and us. Yes, the higher-knowing side of us is part of our Divinely guided team. When we are in the groove, feeling good and loving, we are connected to our higher-knowing self. We know we are worthy of being on our own team.

When you open up to this process, you just may begin to remember the various times throughout your life that the older or younger you popped into your consciousness via your higher-knowing-self. The vibe is one of knowing calm. It’s not about inching you toward an outcome as much as it is to send pure support and a sense of assured comfort so you are able to respond to the moment from a place of amplified light.

There’s nothing like living in a place of higher-knowing. When you follow your heart, trust your gut, and use your head, magic happens!

True Love Includes Self-Love

Are you taking care of people? Are you over-focusing on work? Or are you consistently leaving your needs for last? Turning your Self-Care up a few notches will do you good!

After being diagnosed with breast cancer I can say self-care took on a significantly more serious role in my life. It was at the top of my list. Now that I’m on the other side of the diagnosis, surgery and the majority of treatments, I still want to take loving care of myself.

The most significant relationship you have with anyone on the planet is the one you have with yourself. Every interaction launches from there.

TRUE LOVE INCLUDES SELF-LOVE

You deserve your best.

You deserve to be the object of your own attention.

You deserve to be your own Valentine year-round.

Center your attention on your inner light and allow everything to unfold from there.

Self-Care is Soul-Care!

Our love of self, dictates our expression of it.

There are misconceptions about self-love such as it is selfish

It is not!

Practicing self-love and self-care is always worthwhile for absolutely everyone. If you have young children, are dealing with an illness or are caring for the elderly, this is enormously true. 

Self-care is NOT an indulgence. It’s healthy and restorative! So fall in love with taking care of yourself.

One of the most profound things you can do in this life to achieve peace is to love yourself by being yourself.

Love and know yourself from the inside out.

-Practice healthy boundaries-Teach the people pleaser within to say a resounding NO

-Practice self-forgiveness- Notice how much easier it is to forgive others from this space

-Practice positive self-talk- Allow the story you tell yourself about yourself be the kindest version possible.

-Make a practice out of filling your life with people who love and support you- Fill your life with people who see your shine

-Practice self-love and self-care by trusting yourself- You are absolutely good enough and do not need to prove yourself to anyone

Endings are Just a Warm Up for New Beginnings

It’s springtime in the Northern Hemisphere and Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.

New beginnings are upon us!

This is an essential time on our planet and managing the recurrent, somewhat wild energy that floats around and within intermittently can be a challenge. So if you are seeking balance, this blog post is for you!

Equinox

There was an Equinox on March 20th. At the equinox, night and day are thought to be equal in length. The word equinox comes from the Latin word aequus, meaning equal and nox which means night.

The Equinox is about balance and equality.

Everyone counts!

The divine masculine and divine feminine within

We all have feminine and masculine qualities within.

Masculine qualities are, in a nutshell associated with doing…taking action, meaning creating in the outside world. Feminine qualities are associated with being…creating from within and intuition.

Finding balance between the masculine and feminine within is extraordinarily impactful.

The power is within our ability to integrate equality and balance internally

When we are off balance, we fear what our mind is reflecting back to us. When we are in rhythm with our spirit, we fear nothing. When the divine feminine and masculine within are in sync we can be and do with strength and grace.

Our world is filled with magnificence

We live in a beautiful world and I am glad to be alive. The ugly acts of some do not make the rest of us less lovable. As I move through my day and through the process of dealing with a cancer diagnosis I remind myself that the world is beautiful because the love in each of us lights it up.

In the moments where I feel sad and defeated, I get my body moving and fill my mind with thoughts that throw me into neutral or at least slow down the rapid-fire voice of the negative narrator within.

You know, that judgmental voice chatting away, it is the negative narrator and it hails from your unconscious. It’s the little presence that comments, critiques, and criticizes. The positive narrator, while likewise coming from the back of your mind, is connected to your higher-knowing soul-self — which is why it is positive. It “sees” things, and therefore narrates from an elevated perspective.

The narrator narrates based on our interpretation of what is happening. You can regulate the negative and positive narrators through your mood.

That is why I write positive affirmations, inspirational quotes, books, blogs…and well, you get the picture. The content helps me feel good or at least better. As a result, I radiate a happier vibe and am sticky for the good instead of sticky for the icky.

This is where being balanced from within helps us flourish.

We do have the power to magnetize to ourselves the most joy possible and to choose the way we deal with what occurs. And that is a lot of power, but we are not G-d.

It’s what we do with what we get that matters in the end. So whatever you are dealing with, know that the Universe has your back and that you walk with faith and grace beside you. Do things that make you smile. Find something to appreciate at the top of every waking hour and tune into yourself as your vibration steadily rises. The positive narrator will then be the voice you hear whispering in the back of your mind!

Vibration raising tools and techniques

In addition to maintaining a sense of balance, it is highly worthwhile to talk about your feelings. Allow what is weighing you down some air-time. Exercise good boundaries and express yourself!

~When your hurt feels bigger than your heart, inhale, exhale, and release. Then wiggle your wings and fly out of your head and back into your heart.~

Me and Chemo

This is the story of chemotherapy and me.

If you have ever lost hope and found it again…or wish to find it again, this blog post is for you.

GRACE LIVES IN COURAGE

Here’s a little story about chemotherapy and me. It’s a story about hope, faith and appreciation.

If anyone would’ve suggested five years ago that I would make friends with chemo, I would’ve thought they had been smoking some funny stuff.


Chemotherapy is for people who are really ill, deathly ill. Everything about it scared me.

I had been through a lot including standing up to mean-spirited people as a child and to spooky sad ghosts as an adult so I was not lacking courage. I didn’t feel completely exempt from bad things happening; I just felt I could handle what occurred, come what may.

I’m all about karma, you know the law of cause-and-effect. I’ve long kept my thoughts pretty light and my spirit high so I thought I could protect the world…or at least my world. My understanding of the law of attraction left no room for something so bad. Not that bad. Not chemo bad.

I love people sight unseen and have always been pretty good at maintaining my happy or at least neutral even during pandemic times. Don’t get me wrong, I have had my share of blue moments, dark, dark blue in fact. As a result of surviving them, I felt less crushable.

There’s just something about being diagnosed with breast cancer and almost losing my life that set me on a different trail and it wasn’t one I wanted to be on. Yet I couldn’t get off.


I never dreamed I would be facing my own death by way of an infection gone wild that took hold during my first surgery. 

After being diagnosed, I lost my balance and thought I had cancer because I had done something wrong. Hadn’t loved enough. Didn’t care enough.

After some soul-searching I realized that cancer is the one who didn’t care.

Cancer doesn’t care who you are, who you love, where you live, your age, your income, your status on social media, or how healthy you’ve always been. 

Cancer feeds on what we breathe, drink, smell and eat. 

Never has it been more clear to me that there are some things that happen in life over which we have no control.

Life gives and takes. It’s what we do with what we get that has the most power.

PROCESSING

Processing emotional baggage can be a messy and draining process. It takes time to find resolve.

I’ve been working hard to maintain my connection with the light from within by honoring my feelings and finding a safe place to express and explore them.

Allowing feelings to be felt for some, is unpopular and off limits. It’s too bitter and too messy. Yet we are freed when we allow what brews within…out.

We must care about ourselves enough to aim for the light and go deep. It’s good self-care. And good self-care is good soul-care. When we clear out the dark thoughts that haunt and hurt us, the light has a chance to shine from within.

There are some wounds that heal and reopen. If this happens, please don’t let it break your heart. It’s part of the evolution of the soul.

You gotta move through your sad to find your happy. Along the way do things that bring you joy. Focus on the fabulous or at least less crappy around you. Be okay with taking one step at a time. Represent yourself unapologetically.

Watch and listen for the irony and humor in day to day situations. And be sure to be open to signs from the Universe. Signs that show you how loved you truly are.

Because you are.

CHEMO, THE MAGICAL POTION

So about me and chemo.

I’m in a relationship with chemotherapy.

I am open to its chemical magic.

As it makes its way through my bloodstream it kills cancer cells. What’s more, it teaches every healthy cell in my body to stay together and not split and create cancerous tumors.

Chemo knows its job.

Its impact is felt on numerous levels. It has often knocked me out as it kicked cancers ass.

Thankfully, the human body is regenerative and miraculous.

The stakes are always high where chemo is concerned.

I am grateful for the magic.

I am glad to be alive.

SURROUNDED BY TALENT

As for me, I have been surrounded by talent. The talent of magical practitioners who love their trade and heal the world one patient at a time.

The heaviness that shadowed me has been lifted. I feel raw and free. I’m dancing around my kitchen again and even want to write.

I write to free myself of the heaviness I’ve carried because of a mass, half the size of a pea, that once made its home in my left breast at 12 o’clock.

Flipping My Thoughts from Heavy to Light

I’ve recently written a range of blog posts yet have not published even one of them. They were in part too blunt and too dark for my comfort zone. So I borrowed parts of one of them and included it in my latest newsletter. So for those of you who receive my newsletter, some of this (modified) blog post may seem seem familiar.

I have changed both physically and emotionally.

It now takes me longer to find my happy.

My willingness to find it however has not changed. It’s part of me.

Before I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2021, I had the strangest feeling that I was going to die. I almost did due in part to a nasty infection that occurred after the first of four surgeries.

I’m happy to say I no longer have that awful feeling any longer. I’m also happy to say I am cancer free.

So here’s a blog post that includes some shade though it is not absent of light.

Every picture tells a story. And so does every quote. Here are some  written in the past that are helping me in my present.

Faith and Grace

–Faith and poise accompany me as I move steadily through the transitions that deepen the colors of my soul.

–It’s better to heal the wound than to hold the hurt and wear the scar.

–I feel empowered by my willingness to feel my feelings no matter how big, small, dark, or light they may be.

I believe in the power of self-acceptance. I am confident, strong, brave and beautiful.

–Happiness is good for the immune system because happiness is good for everything.

–In matters of soul, nothing is impossible. Grace lives in courage.

I’ve been talking to my past to help make sense of my present.

I’ve questioned my faith, my intuition and my strength.

The past months have been filled with prayers, tears, procedures, doctor appointments, grief, surgeries, sleep and a deeply felt appreciation for every word, card, post, like, flower, gift, dinner, hug, and shoulder extended to me during this strange and rather bleak part of my life story. 

It’s a different kind of chapter and one I didn’t anticipate. So I’m highlighting every good moment in my mind and holding it close. This is my way of bringing joy back into my life so I can write a happy ending into this chapter.

The whole thing is a process. It’s not really possible for me to fake feeling my light. In order to feel it I have to clear my darkness.

While in the midst of it, such a path feels unbearable; as though I am drowning in air.

Move through the darkness as a path to the light.

Love yourself by being yourself.

After my first surgery, my health took a swift decline due in part to a serious infection. There was a time when I was too sick to be scared. I just wanted my life back.

Thankfully, I have my life back.

It includes chemo.

I’ve tightened up my team of doctors and am doing the same for my boundaries.

I noticed before I was diagnosed that for some reason, people -and I truly mean well-meaning people- sometimes ask some pretty personal questions of those dealing with cancer. I’m certain I’ve done this my share of times. We are all learning.

In the silence of knowing this, I fill myself with light.

I just wish that when people ask me cancer-related-questions I’m not comfortable answering, I could always politely decline and when pushed, lightly say…”My body, my breasts, my business.” 

Someday…It’s a process.

And speaking of processing…

I am happy to announce I will be resuming work on a part-time basis and once I process previously slated appointments, will be opening scheduling back up. Through The Power of Soul

It is estimated that 281,550 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. On August 6th, 2021 I became one of them.

I have several close family members who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Thank G-d, they are all survivors.

For years, my breast health has been watched very carefully by a team of medical experts at Piper Breast Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Every year for well over a decade, I’ve had a mammogram followed six-months later by a breast MRI. While neither can cure cancer, both are tools that can provide early detection. I am eternally grateful for early detection.

Add to that, I’ve had loads of genetic testing. The results were negative which in this case is positive. Meaning the results did not point toward cancer.

Over the years, I’ve doused myself with doctor prescribed creams, taken a number of supplements, eaten more fruits and veggies than meat, exercised regularly and filled myself up with light nearly every single day.

Despite my diligence, I am on the sad side of a statistic. Thank G-d; the medical community knows so much about turning those with breast cancer into survivors!  

You may be wondering where my intuition has been through all of this. The answer is, right by my side.

I had been having a series of odd and ominous visions for months and they always left me feeling foggy.

When in July, I went in for my usual routine MRI, I felt extra nervous. As I approached the check-in desk, I saw my life flashing before me. I remember looking at my husband and saying, “My life is flashing in front me, this can’t be good.”

It wasn’t. The radiologist saw something that was not there six months before.  

On August 5th I had an MRI-guided biopsy.

When the call from the doctor’s office came in late the afternoon of the 6th, I was in my bedroom talking with my middle son Aaron and husband Jason.  

I answered the phone and wasn’t completely surprised when I heard what I dreaded. Words I wish no one ever had to hear. Words that broke my heart, shattered my hope, and changed my life and the lives of the people most dear to me. Moreover, the words matched the pictures I had been seeing on the screen in my head for ten days straight.

A feeling of nausea set in and it still has not completely vacated. 

This is all new to me and my family. We have been taking time to process and gather expert medical information. I bounce from tears to anger to a kind of overwhelming fear. A fear I have never experienced before and I have been through my share of big stuff.

Yet the other day I found myself singing and dancing in my car. I am moving forward on this new path.

I will not be working for about six weeks because I’ll be healing from surgery. So if you don’t see a tweet or post for a while, you know why.

At some point, I may be open to advice but that time is not now.

I’m praying for strength and healing. I’m praying for my family; this is incredibly difficult for them. And I am accepting all the good energy that comes my way!

The Secret About Your Intuition

You were at your most intuitive the day you were born.

Somehow, so many of us were talked out of trusting our gut through unconscious messages sent by well-meaning adults. The good news is, intuition is our birthright and it is easy to awaken!

When fear hits the air, it is exposed to the light. There are some misconceptions about the intuitive process meaning psychic intuition, that I would like to shed some light on.

1. Intuition isn’t earned, it is awakened.

2. Everyone is intuitive. Everyone.

3. Intuition is not evil. Love is certainly not evil and love and intuition are born of the same source.

Your perception of the world goes beyond intellect and belongings. Your spirit is wise and knows you are divinely connected to the light of the Universe. When you feel even a glimpse of joy, hope, love, appreciation and/or happiness, that connection is heightened and your intuition is ignited.

Words

There are those who believe words are empty and have no power. I believe words, like everything in this world are made of energy and energy has tremendous power. It is the meaning behind the words that carries the energy and therefore the power.

The words we speak and the thoughts we think play a special part in awakening to our natural intuition.

Words are a vehicle that can be used to touch a soul and hug a heart.

So allow me to lead you through this path of words.

May the route help you recognize the divine light that you are.

Sometimes you have to dance in the dark to find the light.

I hope you are feeling the light that is you.

Your feelings matter.

Experience your emotions without being controlled by them. Your emotions are the story you tell yourself about what your feelings mean. So breathe into the moment, hug your story by putting a positive spin on it, and keep moving. In fact, keep creating, singing and/or writing and most of all, keep feeling.

Remember, words are a vehicle that can be used to touch your soul and hug your heart.

So…Change the story you tell yourself about yourself. Create a happy ending by creating a happy now.

There are numerous kinds of success. Here’s one…If you are happy, you are a success. Know that happiness in the moment counts. The moment is all we have. Everything else is a memory or a desire.

As you continue to read through this path of words, may the energy of grace, joy, and pure self-acceptance move in and through you and surround you in its warm glow.

Know that one of the most beautiful and profound things you can do to achieve peace in life is to love yourself by being yourself.

If you are confused by people’s actions, know that love is at the core of everything.

Today and every single day think and say…

You are here because the Universe wants you here! You have been invited to dance in the light, so dance!

Live what you love and what you love will fill your life!

Feel alive to love, happiness and your intuitive insights!

Intuition is a free and natural resource.

When applying insights, set your course on that which is for the good of all and remember to consult your heart, gut and head. When all three are in alignment, go for it!

Wiggle Your Wings and Fly Out of Your Head and Back into Your Heart!

Astrological times of change influences us all and can bring remarkable things to pass. Even those of us who are not Astrologers can and do benefit from reading the energy emanating from the Cosmos!

There’s a lot going on in the Cosmos and on our beautiful planet. Do you find it difficult at times to stay focused? When this happens to me, I look to the Universe and the Cosmos for illumination.

Be in tune with the rhythm of your soul. You are a grateful willing spirit with a balanced mind and an open heart. When you walk, you never really walk alone because the Universe has your back.

We are in Eclipse season, so the energy floating around the Cosmos is magnified.

May 26: Total Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius

June 10: Solar Eclipse in Gemini

Eclipses are frequently linked to changing circumstances. They are like little nudges from the Universe encouraging us to clear emotional clutter and shift in direction for more light.

Another Astrological occurrence that impacts us is when Mercury goes retrograde.

Mercury goes retrogrades 3-4 times a year. It went retrograde on May 29th 2021 and goes direct on June 22nd.

You probably know the drill…Mercury is the planet of communication so there may be some delays. Think travel and technology. Hello computers, phones, emails, deliveries, contracts, and good old one-on-one communication with friends, co-workers and family.

Not to worry though…remember we are all in this together. Just read emails and contracts a few extra times before signing and sending and allow a little extra time for travel.

When you stop to take a breath, you will notice you have wings.

This is the second Mercury Retrograde of the year and this one is in Gemini.

When a retrograde happens to any planet it looks like the planet stops and moves backward, but it is an optical illusion…there is movement forward.

Planets emanate a lot of energy. There is the light positive side and also the shadow darker side of a planet’s energy. Since this Mercury Retrograde is in Gemini I thought I would explore Gemini traits because I know we will be dealing with them for the next few weeks.

Positive traits of Gemini: carefree, joyful, adaptable, happy, loving, outgoing, smart and dazzeling.

The optimistic energy makes us want to love freely and speak kindly to and about others. The positive side of Gemini is wise and generous and enjoys laughter and spending time with people.

Negative traits of Gemini are: unreliable, impulsive, nervous, tense, restless and overly self-conscious.

The shadow side of Gemini cares overly much about how it is seen in the world. Ego is up in arms and haunted by fear of loss of identity.  

Best course of action…

Take time to reflect and re-assess…this is an opportunity to choose a different path or feel even more certain about the path we are on. Retrogrades offer a second chance because there is so much reflection, reassessment, and recharging happening! We may decide, after much consideration, to begin making different choices in what has been an area of stress for us, and therefore, we experience new enriching outcomes.

How we process our thoughts and express ourselves is key right now. If you experience an internal conflict between your emotions and your intellect the cosmos may be kicking up some old unresolved ‘stuff’. Disempower the negative narrator within and give voice to the positive by paying attention to everything and anything promising and joyful in your life and focus on that.

The people who are the happiest are not those who have sailed through life seemingly tragedy-free. The happiest people are the ones who shine a spotlight on the good stuff without ignoring the bad.

Keep your thoughts light and your spirits high.

This is an excellent time to:

-Rethink

-Reflect

-Rewrite

-Revise

-Reevaluate

-Refocus

-Regenerate

-Reveal

Remember, when we are off balance, we fear what our mind is reflecting back to us. When we are in rhythm with our spirit, we fear nothing.

Throughout the next weeks remind yourself to Reflect before Reacting.

Pausing and reflecting is not the same thing as overthinking. Overthinking can cause overwhelm which keeps you from feeling overjoyed.

Stay balanced, centered and connected to your intuition so you can make decisions on the fly…ones that you will look back on and feel good about later.

I am now willing to see something positive, beautiful, humorous, silly, or encouraging in every situation I am in. I choose to observe instead of obsess and trade scared for serene whenever possible. Hopeful has now replaced fearful in my world.

Walk through life with a sense of appreciation and confidence. Feel empowered by your own sense of joy!
